Hey ya!! How´s it going? Hope none of you are reading this while studying at the library. Shame on you. Go home and read it there.
Iceland has been treating the ice-queen pretty well lately coz the weather has been amazing, about 4c and sunny! Can you believe it, there is no snow or anything, just rocks and moss... Beautiful!! I have also been very busy cutting fish at the factory and cleaning the offices while not studying.. who am I kidding, I don´t study;)
I have a big test tomorrow that I havent started studying for and it is 23:32 right now... I think I might look over a few notes while watching the Oscars, will probably learn more about designers and shit than actually the history of the aztecas... hehe
But as you all know, my cousin, Kristján, is coming to town tomorrow. I want each and every one of you to put down your books, buy some beer and go party with him (but he prefers vodka) because he will turn 25 the 3rd of march!!
Right now I really have to start studying or else I will likely fail and pull a Kiwi once again, MCTC BABY!!

Yo! I have to say I am a bit disapointed with you all. No comments on my Denmark trip!! Well, maybe I just have to start telling the whole truth, and not leave anything out... it is a fact that sex-sells haha just joking.
So Denmark was cool as shit and yes you can get vodka and red bull over there, you can even get it for free!! But I have to say I do miss it, getting all my drinks for free (unlike now, I only get the first two for free!!)
School is going ok. I havent been too focused on it though, but you know me, I am just so smart I dont have to;) I have one big exam coming up next week that I am going to study for this weekend and not party. Yes, NOT PARTY this weekend... Its like having oreos with no milk, Ólöf=not party, it just doesnt seem right... But I have to do it in order not to become like Kiwi.... hahhaa

At 6.am on friday the 18th, Juicy and her two companions, Magga Stína Rokk (Magga the rock queen) and Bögga (Bögga the ice queen) left for a trip of their life, to a little place that we were raised up to hate, DENMARK. The reasons we are raised up hating them are the following:
We were controled by their king until ´44 (forced to speak danish on sundays...)
They ALWAYS kick our ass in any kind of sport activity, even dancing.
And we were forced to learn their stupid language for 10 years at school, need I say more??
So you, dear reader, must be thinking to yourself right now, "Then what on earth made you guys wanna go there??" Well the reason is simple. Our dear friend Bára (a female who loves beer) is studying there how to become the world gratest interiour designer. So us, being such great friends decided to go and visit her, and face her fears. It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that TUBORG is danish and the beer over all costs about 5 cents.
So, on with the story. Atfer catching the correct flight and not getting lost at "Kastrup" airport, the three amigos had to catch the correct train for three hours to a place in the middle of nowhere, Randers. Juicy, being so good with languages and claims she speaks 5 of them decided to go and buy the tickets for us. Too proud to admit that I didnt really understand that ladies danish, I tell the girls which train we had to take and where (even though I knew I was just guessing what that lady had said...) So as you smart readers have figured out, we did take the wrong train and got lost in Denmark. It was after a few tears of laughter and some yelling at the group´s language guru that one fine gentleman came to our rescue and told us where to go and at what time :)
The rest of the trip was easy, appearantly danish guys are georgeous (but the trio was just looking, not touching as you can imagine...) danish beer is incredible, my friends are bad with directions and laugh a lot, I like to call the sates when I have had one too many and after all the danish nation thinks very higly of small Iceland and everywhere we came we were loved and treated like queens!! I even got free vodka and red bull over there!!!
Our last night in Denmark we went to the Hard Rock cafe in Kobenhavn and the bartender fell in love with us, we drank for free the whole night and ended up in an after party with the staff and the manager singing YMCA on top of the tables!!
So as you can hear ladies and gents, time flies when you are having fun;)

Wednesday-white-wine-drinking
Hey alliuppa!!
Hows it hanging? A little to the left? Thought so;) Well today was a very good day, not just because I cooked some awesome food at work, but also I had whitewine at school!! We were taking a break at the boring ass spanish class I am taking and I went down stairs to get some fresh air. On my way down I noticed a bunch of handsome lawyers giving away free whitewine!! Hang on a sec, am I still dreaming?? But then one of them comes up to me and says: "hey, Ólöf right?" I was just like, huh, yeah, why? "No, I just recognize you from the elections, dont you want to have some whitewine with us? We are advertising for this company and you are more then welcome to join us in some afternoon drinking." Holy smokes, free drinks with a bunch of hot guys practising law... or going back to class?? Hehe you can only imagine what I did. I went back to class, got my stuff and left to go drinking with those fine gentlemen!!!!
As you can imagine driving home was a challange and I managed to forget where I parked the car... But I found it and got home safely.
So as you can see you can drink in Icelandic Universities!! That makes up for no vodka-red-bull right????????
As for any thing else, I am just working my ass off and hoping to win the lotterie so I can come and visit you guys. I am working on getting Annie and Megs to come here for the summer and play some footie with me:) I am also preparing to go to Denmark with my girlfriends and boy will that be something...

ok guys, so your reflexes are good and i cant see why i should not tell you a few stories from the icelandic layed back life... hehe
well since i have been home i have done this:
i went completely bankrupt.
i lost myself in the icelandic nightlife.
i got my job back that i had lost from too much partying.
i got myself into the university politics.
as you can imagine i also won the elections;)
i bought a killer outfit and showed it off last weekend.
i hosted a swede for a few days that could not handle his drinking very well:)
and last but not least i got 75% on my first test at the university of iceland.
so folks, how about that?
as you all know i live in an apartment down town Reykjavík with my twin sister. i am originally from Grindavík, which is about 40 min from Reykjavík so I go there to work and when we have no money to buy food ;)
next friday i am going to a place i promised myself i would never go to, DENMARK!! I am going with my better half (Magga) and my other half (Ingibjörg) us three are going to visit another friend of ours who is studying over there and of course we are going to drink the beer there, but for those of you who dont know, TUBORG is danish!!
tomorrow i have a busy day, school, work, pre-beer-drinking with my danish travellers and work again... i know what you are thinking, but i actually do things way better if i have a few beers in me, just ask the soccer girls, they know!!
anyways, enough for now, will tell you all about last weekend (that was very interesting indeed) in my next blog, just have to clarify some things coz i seem to have some gaps in my memory, have you ever had that desiese?? Ok you punk asses, this is your lucky day because I am starting to blog in english so that you all will not forget the crazy icelandic chick who drank you all under the table!! (yes Pat Kelly and Kiwi, i am talking about you guys!!)
to begin with I will blog every once in a while and if the reactions are good (in other words if you comment a lot....) then I will continue and tell you all the crazy shit I get myself into during beer-and-bacardi-breezer drinking (yes, it is sad but true, we dont have vodka and red bull over here...)
so please let me know what you guys think so that I can see if this is worth it;) Wiss, I expect you to be my number one fan and Kiwi DONT TELL THEM ABOUT MY SCANDALS, k???
so now you guys know a bit how this crazy phenomenon goes so I am expecting some "I LOVE YOU´S" from all of you. As you know Valentines day just passed so i wanted to say thanx for all the flowers i got and all the kisses that got sent to me from xxx hehe
